Where is my journal stored? Locally on your device. If iCloud Sync is on, a copy also lives in your own iCloud account — never on our servers, because we don't have any.
How do I get my entries onto a new device? Turn on iCloud Sync in Settings on both devices, signed into the same iCloud account.
Can I export my journal? Yes — Settings → Export as Book generates a PDF of every entry you've written.
I turned on Face ID lock and got locked out. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app will reset local settings, but note this also clears your local entries if iCloud Sync wasn't enabled — please email support before doing this if you're unsure.
Is there a subscription? No. Every feature in Brevity is free.
